Prince William watches England thrash Panama in replay

The Duke of Cambridge has laid a wreath where ashes of victims of the Holocaust are buried at a memorial in Jerusalem.

William has just begun a five-day tour of the Middle East, with visits to sit Jordan, Israel, and the occupied Palestinian territories, as an outreach effort to help build relationships.

His Royal Highness Duke of Cambridge, who is the second-in-line to the British throne, will stay at the British-era King David Hotel in Jerusalem on Monday night and will be visiting the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum on Tuesday morning.

In a private 1994 visit to Yad Vashem, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, planted a tree there in his mother's honor.

William voiced his horror at the sight of shoes left behind by Jews killed in a Nazi extermination camp, Reuters reported.

Gary Neville on 'real deal' Harry Kane and England's approach to Belgium
The rout was the first time England have scored more than four goals at a World Cup finals since winning the tournament in 1966. Before, during and after the match, England fans have been getting carried away and why the hell not.

In signing the Yad Vashem guestbook, the prince called it a "profoundly moving experience" and said the Holocaust was "almost impossible to comprehend".

As well as being a major documentation and research centre, Yad Vashem puts emphasis on explaining the Holocaust through individuals' stories, their possessions and artefacts.

William also met Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and posed for photos.

Neither William nor Netanyahu made any comments before their meeting. He was also to meet the mayor of Tel Aviv and attend a reception held by the British ambassador that will include demonstrations by Israeli tech startups.

The prince's visit comes at a time of heightened tensions in the region, with deadly clashes on the Gaza border following protests as Israel marks its 70th anniversary year, and USA president Donald Trump's decision to move the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Nick Jonas just made his relationship with Priyanka Chopra official!
After months of speculation, it seems Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have finally decided to make their relationship official. Nick and Priyanka were first linked together as a couple back in 2017 when they walked the Met Gala red carpet together.

According to Israeli website Ynet, Mr Elki described it as "regrettable" Britain had chosen to politicise the royal visit.

But the BBC's Yolande Knell, who is in Jerusalem, said it would be extremely hard for the prince to keep it that way, despite the careful choreography of the trip.

Yet he is likely to rub up against the complicated realities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly when he visits the disputed holy city of Jerusalem.

Later, President Reuven Rivlin told the prince about his childhood in Jerusalem living under the British mandate and asked him to deliver a "message of peace" to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, whom he will meet later in the week.
