Twitter will start banning cryptocurrency ads tomorrow

Russian shopping mall fire
At least 53 people have died and more are missing in a fire at a shopping mall in a Siberian city, officials said on Monday. It has a parking lot for 250 cars, shops, a bowling, a children's center, a cinema, and a petting zoo, according to TASS.

It thereby joined Facebook and Google, which too had chose to block cryptocurrency-related ads on their platforms. The Committee has asked the CEOs of Facebook, Google, and Twitter to personally testify in the hearing.

"Advertisement of ICOs and token sales will be prohibited globally", a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement. Its popularity, especially with millennials who make up a large part of crypto enthusiasts, makes it a crucial channel for many crypto-related products and services to reach their target audience.

"The Facebook sources believe Zuckerberg's willingness to testify will also to put pressure on Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to do the same. If we value civic discourse and fair elections, they have to step up and answer to more than their shareholders", he said. Brian Kelly, CEO of BKCM, a prominent digital asset investment fund told the publication that the market was "just drifting lower" and the news wasn't really anything to concern investors in Bitcoin.

More aggressive tactics have involved players picking at the seam or surface of the ball with a sharp fingernail or bottle-top. Chucking, time wasting and not walking were other common ways of gaining an advantage, but few called it cheating.
